About the Wine
Contrary to what sceptics may say, I feel this wine is good value for money. Or at least better than some doubly or triply priced Indian wines that are not  exactly famous for their consistency. Available in  CSD Canteen outlets at under INR 200/- (CSD Price) this is a quaffing wine that could be an excellent choice for a wine cocktail.
The wine comes from  makers of  Sula wines and is simply labeled as Nashik Valley White Wine without mentioning any grape varietals apparently to keep things simple for the casual wine drinker. Do not however confuse it with Madeira- the famous fortified wine from Portugal, as here, Madera is just a brand name without any associated implicity of character.

Putting it Simply
A fun and light wine that is pleasing on the palate. .

Tasting Notes
Clear pale lemon colour with aromas of tropical fruits and an off-dry palate.

Alcohol Content: 12% v/v

Putting it Simply

A fun, crisp and refreshing wine. Ideal to substitute Beer on a warm afternoon (Beer lovers please forgive me). Good by itself or with starters and tandoori main course.

Serving Temperature
:  8-10º C (45 minutes in the fridge or 15 minutes in a Wine bucket half filled with ice & water).

Tasting Notes

Clear deep pink wine with orange hues.A fruity nose of red cherries,  and candied fruit. On the palate it is dry, light- medium bodied with a crunchy acidity that is well balanced by the fruit. Would work well as an aperitif or with Kababs & Rumali Roti, Kathi Roll, Shawarma & the like.
