A Blind Tasting to Decide India's Finest Wines
Even as you read this, results are being tabulated to award India's best wines across various categories. I was privileged to conduct this tasting for Spiritz - India's most read alcobev magazine. 36 wines were tasted blind by accomplished sommeliers and wine cognoscenti to record their opinion according to a format evolved to remove any subjectivity whatsoever.  The results will be announced in the gala ceremony of Spiritz 2017 happening on 09 Sep 17. Stay tuned to know the winners.....

Bruce Cakebread in India
World wine icons continue to visit India. It shows the promise that India holds for the wine trade even if in the long term. Bruce Cakebread of the iconic Cakebread Cellars of Napa Valley, California visited India in Feb 17 on a short trip. Read about Clovis' first ever Indian experience here..
A Visit to Weingul Elfenhof in Rust, Austria
What started as a business meeting in New Delhi last year, led to a friendship further reinforced by my visit to Weingut Elfenhof, a 17th century wine producer in the picturesque Rust in Burgenland. Apart from my friend and the current helmsman of the estate Ernst Holler, I had the singular privilege to dine with two generations of the Holler family  now in its twelfth generation of wine business. Fresh fish from lake Neusiedl and freshly plucked cherries from their own garden added to the all effusive charm of my hosts..... as the images below try to capture...

Few regions across the world inspire as much awe as the famous Chianti within the Tuscan wine country. I visited Piccini wines, one of the most prominent producers in the region, and shot these snaps to bring home the charm. Something we are sure that winelovers would want to feast their eyes on.....
